Google’s Fun New Maps

Oh Google, how did we ever live without you? We’ve already become reliant on your incredible maps, and now you’ve gone and introduced two new ways to make our travel lives even better.

Last month, Google released a new version of their City Tours, which now lets you follow along their suggested routes to hit the most popular destinations in a city. Even better, you can also import one of your My Maps into the City Tour platform, and get a mocked-up itinerary of how to navigate your way to each of your selected spots with walking times included. So, for example, if you were planning to heading to Nat Geo headquarters to check out the Terra Cotta Warriors exhibit, you could put in our address and get a map made just for you (staying for a second day? They’ve planned for that too.)
