Haven’t figured out how the hangout works. Could you post some tips on an entry? Also would like advise on portraying people in the street/ how to approach them or otherwise how to capture them without spoiling the moment?
On another subject. Photography has evolved so much in the last few years due to new technology. How to compete on a contest against someone that has the latest equipment?
    Thank you!

Will we be able to edit pictures that we will enter for the next natgeo contest (p.s. what are the deadlines for the next contest)?
Does it take a lot of money and time to take a good picture, or is imagination and creativity enough?
Does an everyday picture have more possibilities of winning compared to an exotic and never seen before picture?
Would you judges, prefer a black and white picture rather than a colored picture?
What type of picture do you judges prefer most; landscape, portraits, etc.?
How long do you think it takes (training and learning photography) to begin to take pictures that are actually worthy of winning?

How do you judge the best photograph? What all do you take into consideration most of the time and how do you capture the pic at the right time? And please lend me some tips.

I take great shots, but am not too well versed on photography technicalities, it seems too much like math to me, how can I deal with that?
