Off-Broadway On the House

2 min readAttention theater buffs: NYC & Co. just announced a new promotion that will offer two-for-one theater tickets on Off-Broadway performances at venues throughout New York City. The program, called On the House, will run from February 8-28.
I’m a huge fan of Off-Broadway productions, as they not only enable you to see some upcoming talent before it hits the Great White Way (I saw the deliriously good In the Heights when it was playing Off-Broadway, for example), but also lets you escape the hubbub of Times Square and explore other neighborhood theaters in the city. Through this promotion, you’ll find ticket offerings in Chelsea, Midtown, the Upper East Side, the Upper West Side, the East Village and the West Village.
