You probably know Andrew for his acting roles in Pretty in Pink, St. Elmo’s Fire, Anything But Love, and 2B Perfectly Honest, among others, but did you know that he was named 2010 Travel Writer of the Year
McCarthy has contributed to the Best American Travel series, the Lonely Planet anthology A Movable Feast, and of course several popular feature stories to National Geographic Traveler magazine.
