Ten minutes after sunrise; central Bohol Island in the southern Philippines. The area is famous for so called 'Chocolate hills; an unusual formation that consists of over 1,000 dome hills spread over 50 square kilometres. #FriFotos: Three Cheers for Chocolate

This week’s #FriFotos theme is CHOCOLATE, so we thought we’d throw a curveball by choosing a photo of the so-called “Chocolate Hills” in Bohol province, Philippines. The green grass that covers these famous mounds turns brown in the dry season, calling to mind a chocolate candy land. We’d take a visit to these hills (there are more than 1,000 in a 20 square mile area) over a sundae any day.
